5th year March 25th

We checked homework (phrasal verbs activity) We role played a part of the story we were reading (very good performance girls!!) ;) They wrote predictions (8) about the future of the protagonists of the story. Speaking: choose one of the topics of the copy and talk for three minutes about it. HOMEWORK: Write 100 words on the topic you chose. Re-write the compositions you handed in the previous classes (diary entry and an e-mail)

2nd year March 25th

We continued working with the differences between present simple and continuous. We did many exercises related to the topic. HOMEWORK: Activity 7 (copy)

5th year March 20th

We continued with the second part of the story. MORE PHRASAL VERBS!!! Students made a description of Mark and Lara, and after reading the story, they matched the phrasal verbs to the correct definitions. 2nd year March 20th

We watched a part of the movie "Monsters Inc" and we did a speaking and written activity. Students were supposed to complete some sentences in the present simple and continuous, then put them in order and write 5 more sentences related to a part of the scene. Did you like the story? CAE March 16th

Welcome back my dear students!!! I'm glad you've decided to continue improving your English!!!! We did a CAE quiz, which was very good!! Then we analyzed each part of the exam and we compared it with FCE. After that, we started working, of course!!! We started with a listening activity (which is different from FCE) and we read a text, found the mistakes and corrected it! Pre-adolescents 3 March 15th

Welcome!!!!! I'm so glad to have new students!!!!! We did a very short activity in order to remember what we did last year (Write 3....) Then we did a spealing and written activity about how often we use English. Students interviewed their partners and teachers and wrote sentences with the results. Very good job!!!!!!!! After that, the teacher gave them a picture with 4 different images and they describe the pictures orally. HOMEWORK: Write a description for each picture using present simple and present continuous. We also roleplayed the dialogues. HOMEWORK: Write the dialogue again, but this time with YOUR information. Then write a paragraph about you (related to the information given)

5th year March 13th

We read a love story and we worked on reading comprehension and phrasal verbs. That was difficult, right???? HOMEWORK: finish the phrasal verbs activity and write a diary entry for the protagonist of the story. HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!!!

2nd year March 12th

We wrote one of "The Beatles" song!!!! We did many activities with the song "Hello, goodbye" by The Beatles". We worked with the present simple verb tense. Then we listened to the song and filled in the gaps. Students discovered that The Beatles song was very similar to the one they had written. HOMEWORK: A copy for revision of Present simple and present continuous.

WELCOME!!!!!!!! We introduced ourselves in English!!!! (Nos presentamos en Inglés)and then we remembered how to say the day and what's the weather like. (Y luego recordamos cómo poner la fecha y el tiempo) After that, we played on the floor trying to order the words to make phrases related to classroom language. (Después de eso, jugamos en el piso tratando de ordenar palabras para hacer frases relacionadas al vocabulario de clase) We also wrote down on the folders classroom situations in which we could use those phrases. Students cut and paste the correct phrase. (También escribimos en la carpeta situaciones de clase en las que podríamos usar esas frases. Los alumnos recortaron y pegaron la frase correcta.)

5th year March 11th

Welcome back girls!!! it's a pleasure to be with you again!!!!! We did a speaking activity in which students had to write some information about themselves. Then the teacher read them aloud and they were supposed to guess who I was talking about. After that, they did an interview to the teacher and filled in a form in order to write a text later!!

Intensive I March 12th

We did a short exam to see how much we remember from secondary school. You did it great!!! ;) Then we analyzed a BBC article and tried to implement reading techniques in order to understand it without the use of the dictionary. HOMEWORK: the teacher gave to each student a comment entry and they have to say if it is for or against grafitti. GOOD LUCK!!!

2nd year March 11th
